The Vauxhall Astra GTE arrived in 1983 as a superior version of the SR model with the more aggressive style and superior performance. This model is equipped with 14 inch alloy wheels, glass sunshine roof with interior sliding blind, electrically operated windows and door mirrors which have body coloured cowls, the digital dash, lockable glove box, rear boot spoiler, front fog lights and radio/cassette.
